Middle-earth Adventures Announces First Official Live-Action Roleplaying Event, "The Brandywine Festival"
Harrodsburg, KY – The Shire ™ is calling! The 1st Annual Brandywine Festival, an immersive Hobbit-themed LARP event, will take place over five magical days and nights, offering fans of fantasy, storytelling, and LARP (Live-Action Roleplay) the chance to experience The Shire like never before. Running from October 7 - 12th, 2025, this one-of-a-kind festival will feature elaborate sets, dynamic quests, traditional games, and an authentic atmosphere filled with music, food, and adventure. Tickets will be available exclusively through Kickstarter starting on March 25th, with early backers gaining access to limited-quantity perks and exclusive LARP content.
The Brandywine Festival invites attendees to step into The Shire where they are not just guests, but characters in an unfolding story. From competitive games, like barrel-races and riddle contests, to mysterious quests and hidden mathoms, the festival creates a rich, living environment where choices matter and every interaction shapes the larger narrative. Attendees can camp in character within the immersive setting or choose the comfort of out-of-game camping. Costumes are required, and a vibrant marketplace will feature handcrafted goods, local food, and live performances from bards, minstrels, fire dancers, and more.
