With two separate side panels that close with a hidden button placket in the back and stylish wooden buttons in the front, there are tons of possible color combinations!

A relatively short cut, crenelated cuffs, like our mi-parti Gugel \"Dangereuse,\" and wide sleeves allow sufficient freedom of movement.

Due to its modularity, the colors can of course be changed regularly.

The French term \"surcot,\" which can be translated as \"over the dress\" can already be found in the 12th century: As the top layer of fabric, with plenty of heraldry and decorative elements, it serves to clearly distinguish friend from foe in the thick of battle!

Our Surcoat \"Aleran\" is made of a heavy woolen fabric, which withstands the rigors of the outermost layer of clothing well. Its bright contrasting colors provide dramatic flair.
