I've been making costumes for a few years now and let me tell you the boots make the whole thing. These are an amazing option for just about any costume idea you have. They are inexpensive, built very well, and look fantastic. These guys definitely have my business. 10/10
Upon doing an initial washing to get rid of the fold wrinkles, the eyelets rusted straight away. Really? They couldn't use stainless eyelets or brass? I've never bought anything that had eyelets that rust. Imagine buying Reebok tennis shoes, Converse, or Nike and the eyelets rusting. Very disappointing.

Great product and quality material. Tough to wear as I think my calves are a bit big and so no matter how tight I tie I find they tend to slip down off my calf. Thinking about affixing some Velcro to get them to stick to my pants and stay up better.

Nice appearance and fit. Relacing is a bit of a challenge with the rough edges on the ends of the ties but adds to the rustic appearance.
These were received faster than expected. My husband is picky about being comfortable so finding costumes that look good but are comfy is always challenging. He used these to make black sneakers look more like boots and it worked great. They are snug and a bit difficult to get on but once on, they look perfect.
