Starter Set Medieval - Women

The Starter Set pairs two complementary garments rooted in high medieval women's dress. The foundation is the Trumpet Sleeve Under Dress Klara, cut in natural white cotton with dramatically long trumpet sleeves - a hallmark of noble dress that makes fine handwork rather impractical by design. Worn alone with a belt it makes a strong impression, but it truly comes into its own as a base layer, adding length and elegance beneath an outer garment.

Over it goes the Surcot Isabella, also known by its vivid medieval nickname "Devil's Window" for its characteristically wide armholes. Made from a rough-textured construction wool, it is worn over the underdress and frames it beautifully - equally fitting for a noblewoman at a market or a mage at LARP.

As an optional addition, the Castilla Bonnet in 100% cotton ties securely at the back and drapes just over the shoulders. Beyond its authentic look, it carries real historical weight - in the Middle Ages, covered hair was a marker of a married woman's status and respectability.
