Bought these for some SCA events, and was delighted to find that ordering a half size too large (since half sizes are not an option) provided just enough space to slide some insoles in. Gave them a good test all day in the heat and mud and fully garbled and have zero complaints, other than that the ankle of the shoe will need to soften a bit in order to stop digging into skin when I walk.
Overall really impressed, and will likely be purchasing additional styles in the future.

The shipping was really fast. These were as described, the sizing seems accurate, and the leather was softer than I even expected for an entry level pair of shoes. Eventually I hope to get the nicer pair, but considering the event I purchased them for is a mid-february outdoor event where there's likely to be a lot of mud, it felt like a better idea to go with the less expensive pair in case they were damaged, but these exceeded my expectations!
Quality item, I can't wait to wear them to my next SCA event.
